We Have Done It Again

We have done it again in our travel to space,
Seeking new ways to improve our place
On this fragile planet, the home we call Earth.
We have reached for the stars in song and in mirth,
Down through the centuries we have given it face.

The face is of living at a natural pace
In a world gone mad in technology's race
Toward knowledge, that inside, is healing rebirth.
     We have done it again.

The face is us, full of grace,
Seeking with heart and soul to chase
The vision within. On a sky aberth
A satellite we see beauty, not dearth,
As we look through a porthole in our travel to space
     We have done it again.
