This resurrected last painting in the beachball series is unique in that it includes a poem spanning across the page:
Bounding along a beach with our ball
spinning happily out of control
bounding into shallow surf-wave crawl
snatched by seaward suction's pull.
I swore I would never do another beachball subject again but, many years later, I caved in on this one for a last hurrah! Acrylic & ink on Arches paper.
